Whirlwindia is a dazzling spiral galaxy with bright blue arms that twist like a pinwheel. Its center glows gold from billions of old stars packed tightly together. The spiral arms are full of colorful gas clouds where new stars are being born. Tiny pink and purple sparkles dot the galaxy—these are young, hot stars zooming through space. Whirlwindia spins slowly, making one full rotation every 300 million years!
